Immersed in centuries of conflict and barbarism, the Arabian peninsula in the 6th century was one of most backward societies in the world; intellectually, spiritually, socially, politically, ethically and morally.
Yet, in under 23 years under the leadership of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), emerged a powerfully unified, civilised nation that produced one of the greatest civilisations in history, with world leaders in culture, arts, sciences, scholarship and trade.
